OSU Extension to host Home Food Preservation Workshop

Home Food Preservation Workshop, a program about canning and home food preservation for beginners, is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. June 20 at the Vinton County Community Building.

The program will include a demonstration of the proper home canning techniques, up-to-date fact sheets, and important information on canning safely. Dial gauge canner lid testing will be available after the program. Registration is necessary because the program will be canceled if enrollment is too low.
