Two arrested for alleged assault, robbery

According to a release from the Vinton County Sheriff’s Office, two people were arrested on charges of aggravated robbery and felonious assault.
On Friday, Shane Green of McArthur reported that he was assaulted and an undetermined amount of cash taken from him while at a residence on Sam Russell Road in Dundas.
After an investigation by the sheriff’s office, James Faris, 30, and Elizabeth Cook, 25, were arrested on charges of aggravated robbery and felonious assault.
They were taken to Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail. A bond hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.
