Vinton County Athletic Boosters to hold annual Fourth of July celebration

The Vinton County High School Athletic Boosters will hold their annual Fourth of July celebration from July 5-7 on the grounds of the Old Vinton County High School.
Thursday, July 5,
- 5 p.m. — Midway opens
- 6 p.m. — Grand parade
- 7 p.m. — Open Highway
- 9 p.m. — Crossroad Station
Friday, July 6
- 4 p.m. — Midway opens
- 6 p.m. — Jimmy Flemming
- 8 p.m. — Jonalee White
Saturday, July 7
- Noon — Midway opens
- 4 p.m. — The Little Miss and Mister Firecracker baby contest
- 6 p.m. — Little Miss Vinton County pageant
- 8 p.m. — Miss Vinton County pageant
- 9 p.m. — Athletes of the Year announcement
- 9:30 p.m. — Chip Allman and the Bottom of the Barrel Band
- 10:15 p.m. — Fireworks
- 10:45 p.m. — Raffle drawing
There is a daily gate charge of $2. Proceeds benefit the high school athletes.
